Walking and Running Trails

Two of the top walking and running trails in Killarney are within walking distance from the Great Southern hotel, with several other just a short distance away.

Muckross House

Knockreer House, Circular Walk is close to the town centre. A breath-taking walk with lake views onto Lough Leane, and the spectacular McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain landscape. The complete loop is 8km (5 miles) with many areas to rest and relax. The walk will eventually take you by Ross Castle.
