Congratulations to Rachel Wallace from St. Aloysius School, the winner of this year’s HEAnet Special Award at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2023
The 59th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition took place on the 11th– 14th January 2023. President Michael D. Higgins officially opened the 2023 exhibition to the excitement of over 1,100 students that had travelled from all over the country to showcase their projects at Dublin’s RDS. A panel of 80 judges met with the students to talk through their projects and our HEAnet special award winner Rachel Wallace from St Aloysius’s school impressed them with her project on ‘An investigation on how men and women are treated in online gaming’.
The event, which has celebrated STEM research and innovation for almost 60 years, returned in person for the first time since 2020. HEAnet is proud to support the BTYSTE for many years and we believe that supporting and rewarding the young generation of innovators is essential to ensure the future growth in technology.
HEAnet supported the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition by sponsoring a Special Award. The HEAnet Special Award this year was in Behaviour and Social Sciences category.
Congratulations again, to Rachel Wallace from St. Aloysius School and all other winners & participants!
