Dónal is a Unix Sysadmin who moved sideways into network engineering and never left. As a Technical Architect on the Innovation R&D team he manages HEAnet's external connectivity and contributes to GÉANT WP6T2 in both the Architecture and Training Working Groups when not trying to build & repair connections to New Jersey & Brazil for researchers.

He proudly speaks BGP with a Donegal accent. Can terrify children by reciting nursery rhymes with a South African accent.
