Collaborators from ATU, RCSI, Trinity, TU Dublin, and UL are working together on a Research IT competency model as part of the RESIN workplan for 2024. This model aims to define Research IT, emphasise its importance, differentiate it from typical IT functions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and provide effective strategies for organising, resourcing, and communicating Research IT within the HEI community. Additionally, the model will showcase best practices from European Research IT setups, including available resources at national and institutional levels.
