The ICT Security Services team at HEAnet is pleased to host the 2025 Client Security Forum, a hybrid event focused on the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity in the Educational Sector.
This forum will bring together a range of perspectives from across the sector to discuss real-world threats, immediate compliance actions, and long-term governance strategies.
A key highlight of the agenda is a dedicated session led by Rida Villanueva from Cyberhealth Services (CHS), a guest partner, titled “AI Governance: Frameworks and Strategies in Education.” This session will provide an in-depth exploration of AI governance models specifically designed for the education sector. It will feature internationally recognised frameworks such as ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act. CHS will offer strategic guidance to help institutions establish sustainable AI oversight structures that align with policy requirements.
Who is this event for?
This event is open to all ICT Security Services clients.
It is particularly relevant for IT and compliance professionals, decision-makers, and academic leaders in higher education who are navigating the growing risks and regulatory challenges related to AI.
How will it help you?
You will gain practical insights into how AI is transforming the cybersecurity landscape in education. You will also learn immediate steps to reduce risks, strengthen compliance, and build long-term institutional resilience through effective governance.
The ICTSS Client Security Forum is a hybrid event. Join us in person at the HEAnet Office, Dublin 1, or attend remotely via Microsoft Teams (link to follow). Clients attending in person are warmly invited to join us for lunch at the end of the event.
This event is free of charge for HEAnet’s ICTSS clients, but spaces are limited, so early registration is advised. Register here.
